About Secure Beginnings:
- To provide an Emotional Wellbeing Counselling Service to pregnant and postnatal parents and care givers residing in Walsall. (Including grandparents and adults supporting with care)
- With up to six, two hour sessions available with a qualified counsellor.
- The aim is to support the quality of that parent-infant relationship building and support where this is stressful or needs strengthening
- To enhance parental capacity to understand and respond to infant emotional needs effectively
- Providing the opportunity for new parents to meet other parents though group workshops, taking place across the Walsall locality in Family Hubs
